1993 SALEEN GOING OUT WITH A BANG

What started in 1984 had all come to a head in the last year of the fox mustang. After almost 10 years of modifying mustangs fox perfection was achieved.
1993 factory supercharged Saleen was wearing 17 inch wheels a vortech blower recaro seats and a racecraft tuned suspension. The spyder package and lightbar had perfected the convertible.25 were made
Nothing could prepare ourselves for how far the original ssc had come. In 1989 the 290 hp saleen ssc had come on the scene its fully tuned suspension and modified engine really lifted the bar for the fox platform. Fastforward to 1993 Saleen SC. Every conceivably part was upgraded to deal with the tire shredding 450hp
Brakes: upgraded 13 in alcon calipers and rotors
transmission: 5 sp tremec
axle: aurburn cone clutch 3.55 differential
Engine: Vortech blower, saleen upper and lower intake, performance chip, heads , radiator , valve train,larger mass air and throttle body
wheels: stern three piece alloy wheels
Air management: Full Saleen aerodynamics and light weight composite hood
Unfortunately only 4 of the 450hp Saleen SC's made it out of the factory. 3 convertibles and 1 hatchback.
